My research area is in coding theory, and my advisor is Dr. Christine Kelley. My current research activity involves analyzing the performance of graph-based iterative decoding algorithms for Quantum Low Density Parity Check (QLDPC) codes. In order to do this I use tools from discrete math, graph theory, coding (to simulate decoding algorithms), and quantum information science more broadly. I'm also pursuing a graduate minor in Electrical Engineering to gain a better understanding of practical limitations and implementations of my research.
